Encore Bears focuses on positions for which campus managers indicated they have the greatest need. These are non-represented positions at the Professional, Supervisory, and Manager levels.
Other positions may be considered for inclusion in the program in the future as needs change.
Encore Bears developed the pool of retirees by inviting to apply those who held a position in one of the above classifications upon retirement within the last few years. We anticipate that the pool of retirees in the Encore Bears program will grow over time.
